Patient rooms:
Patient rooms are equipped with bathrooms, telephones, color televisions. Each room has 3 beds and is designed to accommodate one parent per patient for overnight stays (intensive care units are an exception).For your convenience, the hospital provides shower and laundry facilities for parents.
At the door of each patient room, you can find a board on which presents the names of the doctors and nurses on-duty. Do not hesitate to turn to them when you meet any problem during your staying at hospital.
What to bring:
Although we encourage children to wear their regular clothes during the day, please bring pajamas, a robe and slippers for your child. You’d better bring toothbrush, toothpaste, comb and towels as well. For certain X-rays, tests or surgical procedures, your child may be asked to wear a hospital gown.
To assist your child in feeling more secure, feel free to bring a favorite toy, blanket or other item marked with your child’s name.
For security reasons, please do not bring anything of great value, such as jewelry. Medications also should be left at home, unless specifically requested by your doctor.
Because of fire safety laws, personal electric equipment is not allowed.
Convenient facilities:
ATM
An ATM is available on the first floor of the inpatient building. It’s near the Ward Pharmacy.
Phones
Phones are located at the end of the corridor on each floor of the inpatient building. You can use the phone with an IC Card at any time.
Meals
A restaurant in our Hospital is located on the 2nd floor of No.5 Building. It provides breakfast, lunch and supper.
Shops
Some shops are located in and out of our hospital. You can buy beverages, snacks and gifts for your child during your staying at hospital.
Visiting:
Parents and grandparents may visit 24 hours a day; other guests may visit from 7:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Visitors must be age 16 or older. All visiting children must be accompanied by an adult.
To promote the good health of our patients, guests, employees and associates, smoking for parents and visitors is limited to the designated smoking areas outside the hospital.
Discharge:
A member of your child’s health-care team will notify you when your child will be discharged; discharges typically occur from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m every Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday they do from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30a.m. At discharge, your child’s nurse will review instructions for your child’s care at home |
